YGTF – How to make a rabbit trap

rabbit trap

Here are Ben and Matt’s proffered versions of the rabbit trap. The first version is easier to reset, but a rabbit is more likely to go through the snare and not miss it with the second version. So choose wisely. Please comment !!!!

I built two of the first one using old heavy action fishing rods instead of trees next to my vegetable garden, and they worked really well last summer. I got seven rabbits over the summer. I learned it in an old survival book my grandfather had, but you guys do a real good job explaining it, keep it up.

u guys should list that survival options only! but cool traps

  • By marcisgreatAA, April 3, 2010 @ 8:21 pm

On the second one, you should hang the horizintal between the vertical ones, that makes it work both ways,

so make the insert in th middel of both vertical ones and hang the horizontal one in there with the tips in the insert.
