What non-toxic repellent protects Impatiens plants from animals?
I think animals pulling roots of Impatiens plants are either squirrels or rabbits.

Try citrus peels like oranges or lemons. It works for dogs and cats. Maybe it will work for smaller furry critters.
Obnoxious smelling hand soap like Coast works to keep deer away. You could try some of that too.
