I am asked to set up a vegetable garden for children in an area infested with wild rabbits there is not the the money for any fencing or the time to install any,I am happy to grow only those vegetables that are not eaten by rabbits.
I am not having much luck shooting the 100′s of rabbits that live on my block. I feed what I do manage to shoot to my dog who refuses to eat steamed vegetables. Can I buy and use steel jaw traps in Australia?

ok i seen it there this huge rabbit that look likes a fat cat that runs around the neighborhood and it always goes into our yard and eats my moms vegetables and plants. i feel so bad because i know my mom gets mad. but it disapears so fast. it sneaks in our garden i think at night or early in the morning. have any suggestions. my mom jokes around if she catches it shes going to eat it.

I have a large garden that I can fence off and keep rabbits. They will eat almost anything including waste vegetables from local restaurants. They will breed and I can have rabbit pie for free for always.
Pet rabbits are given away free so which is the best kind to get. Also how many should I get so I will have about one rabbit a week for dinner.
