What can I grow for our pet rabbit to graze on?
He’s eating my favourite plants which I am having to fence off. What can I cheaply grow to distract him?

A rabbit has taken up residence under my deck. It has eaten my broccoli, cauliflower and day lilies. I don’t want to kill it, just repel it. I built a chicken wire fence around the veggie garden, but it does no good. Any ideas about what to spray on my plants to keep Mr. Bunny away? My dog has enjoyed chasing the rabbit, but isn’t fast enough to catch him.
im removing the rabbits as they are destroying my plants, a skunk was in the trap it was relocated to the woods now the live trap smells of skunk, will a rabbit still enter the trap, will the rabbit avoid the skunk smell? what can i use to remove the smell from the trap one trap was homemade out of wood and chicken wire the other is a hav a hart, please help thank you
I have tried everything short of a shotgun! Traps, liquid fence, all types of urine and animal pellets. Does anyone know of a poison that I can put on my plants that the rabbits eat every day that will take care of the rabbit, but not harm the plants. I appreciate your thoughts and input in advance.
i’ve tried wired fencing
rabbit away sprays
marigolds but they keep coming back and more this year because of them mating. any tips on how to keep them away and eating the plants?
ok i seen it there this huge rabbit that look likes a fat cat that runs around the neighborhood and it always goes into our yard and eats my moms vegetables and plants. i feel so bad because i know my mom gets mad. but it disapears so fast. it sneaks in our garden i think at night or early in the morning. have any suggestions. my mom jokes around if she catches it shes going to eat it.
thanks for answering but our garden is huge its not a small garden.
you have been growing lettuce in your garden but there are rabbits that keep eating your plants. So you decide to go to the nursery to buy rabbit repellent. The nursery has 4 different types of rabbit repellent. You decide to buy 1 box of each type of repellent to try them all out and see which one works the best. In the experiment you design what will be your independent variable, dependent variable, control variable, experimental group, and control group?!?
I planted morning glories outside at about 3 inches tall that had been starting from seed indoors. The plants finally starting taking off after a few weeks, and nothing bothered them, but recently something has starting chewing at all the leaves. The plants were finally starting to twine around the trellis I set up for them, and whatever eating them chewed off all the stems twirled around the bamboo posts! It only happens at night.
The leaves have holes similar to this http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h22/lisa_s00/june232006108.jpg
At first we thought it might be a rabbit, but we put mesh cages around the plants and theyre still being eaten every night, so we concluded it must be insects.
I know we have snails and slugs that hang around the garden, but some of the chewed leaves were far off the ground and I doubt the delicate stems of the plant would be able to support a snail or slug without snapping off the whole plant. There was also no evidence of any kind of trail that snails or slugs leave behind.
So my question is, what they heck could be eating my plants and how do I stop them? What are some natural repellents for whatever insects could be doing this.
Id also like to add that my garden includes a large vegetable garden, so I cant put anything toxic on the plants. Anything I use would have to be a natural remedy.
I live outside the city limits and my neighbor bought some rabbits for his children. well he got tired of feeding them so he released them into the neighborhood. they have multiplied and now there are about 20 rabbits in our yard eating our expensive plants. i need a way to kill them. we tried trapping them but they are too smart to go into the trap. i just want to poison them before my yard is completely destroyed.please help!
Will you share any organic repellents that will keep wild rabbits out of the garden. My plants are "topless"!!
I have a large hay field close to the garden so there are plenty of nesting areas. I love to watch the sweet rabbits but just want them to live my garden alone. Any ideas (beside killing them) would be appreciated. Thanks!
