Our Garden June 2009

rabbit fencing

This is our Chicagoland area garden following a very late start due to very cool weather with lots of rain. The containers are almost done, all the roses are now in bloom, and the peonies and azaleas just finished. There is wire fencing around the most rabbit delectible flowers, and a whole section recently fenced in following perennial daisy devastation by a passing groundhog.

Mariza’s Home Vegetable Garden 2009

rabbit fencing

This is Mariza’s Vegetable Garden this year. She planted Okra, Chinese Long Beans (sitaw), Yellow Squash (kalabasa), Bittermelon (ampalaya), Jalapeno (sili), Green Bell Pepper, Tomato (kamatis), Green Beans (Baguio Beans), Cucumber (pipino), & Snow Peas (sitiaro). In the previous year, we didn’t have the fence around the garden. Mariza built the fence to keep Dori away from the plants. Hopefully she won’t jump over.

Bunnyfence

Bunny Fence BunnyFence® Garden Art: Panels that form vases to Protect that One Special Flower…. After years of watching our gorgeous flowers get eaten away, we decided to do something about it. We invented a beautiful steel fence to protect our special flowers and plants. They are sold in panels 18″ x 18″ that stake into the ground. This versatile, non-toxic vase-like fence (which we call BunnyFence) forms a shield around our bunches of flowers, plants and bushes. It works! Bunnies stay away and your special flower thrives! We know that people (us included!) have been looking for something like this. Garden forums and chat rooms on the internet, always find gardeners pleading, “does anyone know of a product that is easy to install, works like chicken wire but is pretty?” Finally, there is a solution! Stop pouring more chemicals, sprays and urines on your flowers – YUCK! We help the environment. Please take a moment to visit our website: www.bunnyfence.com. You’ll love it and want more. 630-922-8500 – thanks, Jackie info@bunnyfence.com
