This is a short clip showing the filming of a scene for Rabbit Proof Fence. Here’s a description of the film from IMDB: “This is the true story of Molly Craig, a young black Australian girl who leads her younger sister and cousin in an escape from an official government camp, set up as part of an official government policy to train them as domestic workers and integrate them into white society. With grit and determination Molly guides the girls on an epic journey, one step ahead of the authorities, over 1500 miles of Australia’s outback in search of the rabbit-proof fence that bisects the continent and will lead them home. These three girls are part of what is referred to today as the ‘Stolen Generations’.”

LOL! Weepy, you’re not bright and I don’t want to hurt your feelings with the truth (again) but here goes:
1) I never stated that there wasn’t a CATEGORY for “race” on a child’s birth certificate for the father.
2) The “race” of the father is important in ASSIGNING “race” to a child ONLY when the father is “black”
3)The office of Vital Statistics uses the birth certificate in “race” assignment.
4)Call any office of Vital Statistics in the U.S. and confirm what I’ve written, numerous times.

O..kay disregarding all comments on this so far…I’m White Australian….I do not want to cause a debate…but Rabbit Proof Fence is one of THE most favourite movies….highly recommend ALL actors and so forth…and the behind the scenes takes….it is part of a foreboding history us WHITES should endure….love everything about it…about to buy the movie…it’s just as Australian as Wolf Creek.
